Behold! Your Truly Anonymous Contest Winners, Fandom!
When the idea for a Truly Anonymous Contest was conceived, I expected we might receive thirty or so stories altogether in both the AH and AU Categories, and our stellar cadre of judges and the reading public would have the leisure of reading each story—several times if they liked—and then we would get to select a couple of winners from both categories and that would be that.
The reality is that we got ninety-six wonderful entries from which our judges and the voting public had to choose the top three alternate universe and all human stories. With this large a sampling of fan fiction writing talent, the task of choosing three winners only in each category was a gargantuan one, but our judges and readers rose to the challenge and I believe we have come away with a unique representation of the creativity and writing skill that embodies our fandom.
All of our entries were winners in their own rights, and we want to thank the writers first and foremost for making this first Truly Anonymous Twilight Contest the success that it is. To my fantastic co-hosts, judges and graphic artists, thanks for hanging in here with me and persevering to the end. To all the affiliate sites who promoted the contest, thanks so much for your unwavering support. And finally, to all the individuals who pimped the contest, read and voted, thanks for giving of your time to reward your fandom with a new crop of writing stars. These winners will be the ones to watch in the fandom and beyond, and we hope to see more work from them in the months to come.

The Truly Anonymous Twilight One-Shot Picture and Prompt Contest
Want a truly level playing field in a One-Shot Contest?
Then enter the TAT O/S PP Contest, and you’ll get a fair shake!
We love fanfiction, and contests have brought to light some fantastic fanfiction authors, but with so many popular and widely known authors in the fandom, it’s hard for new and lesser known authors to compete. While we know that many of the authors who win standard contests absolutely deserve it, we also want to see what happens when every author is unknown. With that in mind, we bring you a contest with a new set of guidelines to level the playing field.
The contest is open to all fanfiction authors, whether they’ve never written anything or happen to be the most recognizable names in the fandom. The catch is that not only do their entries have to be anonymous, but no one can promote any of the individual stories. That’s right! We’re letting each story speak for itself, without the endorsement of other well known names and websites. All entries will be posted on our contest profile page, without mention of the authors, betas, and prereaders involved, and each story will include a note asking reader to promote the contest and list of stories as a whole, not the individual entries. In this way, we hope to allow each story to stand out on its own and award our participants based entirely on the merits of their writing.
And did we mention our fabulous hosts? No? Well, we’ve got some of the most enthusiastic readers, beloved authors, and spectacular graphic artists driving our efforts! That’s right!
